Cinco de Mayo – May 3rd

A Relaxed Afternoon of Food, Fellowship, and Gentle Connection  –  We invite you to join us for a warm and welcoming Cinco de Mayo luncheon—a time to enjoy good food, light conversation, and the comfort of being together.  After loss, even simple moments of connection can feel like a meaningful step forward. This gathering is designed to be easy, relaxed, and uplifting—where you can come just as you are and participate however feels right to you.  There is no pressure to talk or engage beyond your comfort level. You may simply enjoy a meal, listen, smile, and be in the presence of others who understand.  Whether this is your first time or you’ve joined us before, you will be warmly welcomed.  Come take a gentle step forward with us—we would love to share this time with you.

Volunteer Project June

Surviving From Loss helps prepare materials for Vacation Bible School  –  A Simple Way to Serve—Together  –  Sometimes, one of the most meaningful steps forward is finding a quiet way to serve alongside others.  We invite you to join us in preparing materials for Vacation Bible School this June. This is a relaxed, come-and-go opportunity to assemble simple items in a calm, supportive environment.  There is no pressure and no expectations—just a chance to sit together, work at your own pace, and be part of something that will bless others.  Whether you stay for a short time or the entire gathering, your presence matters.  If you feel ready, we would love to have you join us for this gentle opportunity to serve together.

An Evening of Sweet Fellowship, Music, and Gentle Joy  –  Some days feel heavy… and sometimes what we need most is simply to be around others who understand.  Join us for a relaxed evening of ice cream, familiar songs, and meaningful connection. There’s no pressure to sing, no expectations, just a welcoming space where you can sit, listen, smile, and enjoy being together.  Whether this is your first time or you’ve been before, you will be warmly welcomed.  Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.  We would love to spend this time with you.  Ice Cream Social and Old Fashioned Gospel Sing-A-Long  July 8, 2026

WidowedCare — A Safe Place to Begin Healing

Losing a husband or wife changes nearly every part of life, and sometimes it is difficult to know where to begin. WidowedCare is Surviving From Loss’s grief support program created specifically for widows and widowers. In a caring, Christ-centered environment, you will meet others who understand the unique journey of losing a spouse while receiving practical tools, encouragement, and support to help you navigate grief and begin rebuilding life. There is no pressure to speak or share before you are ready—you are welcome simply to come, listen, and know that you are among people who understand. And because grief does not follow a timetable, neither does our support. WidowedCare is available year-round, because you were never meant to walk through grief alone.

An Evening of Laughter, Food, and New Friendships – After loss, it can feel unfamiliar to laugh again… but laughter has a way of gently finding its way back when we are together. Join us for a casual evening of BBQ, Bunco, and fellowship. Bunco is easy to learn, lighthearted, and full of smiles—no experience needed.  You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Many who attend say it’s the most fun they’ve had in a long time.  If this is your first time, we’ll make sure you feel at home from the moment you arrive.  Come enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by people who truly understand.  Burgers and Bunco – August 1st or 8th
